Travel photos: Venice in November

In November, when most of the tourists have disappeared and the hype has subsided, Venice shows a completely different face than one is used to. The residents of Venice have the city almost to themselves again, and it is sometimes downright incredibly quiet in the squares and in the winding streets. In addition, there is the often foggy autumn mood, so that you involuntarily feel transported back in history and feel something of the original medieval flair of the lagoon city of Venice. I tried to capture this mood with my photos.
